You should never be a “lesser mortal”.
Don’t be a guru either.
Be a god.
Then will people open your emails, read all 4,000 words, read your sales pitches, buy your stuff, send testimonials, ask you when the next product’s coming, recommend you to their friends, and start over when they get your next email.
You’ve got to build that love and authority. So you can’t afford to be a lesser mortal.
Being a “god” to your market means you write with confidence and perceived expertise (thus not being the lesser mortal), you bring a “magic bullet” solution (credit to Frank Kern) to their problems, and you are being honest to them (thus not getting the drawbacks of being the “guru”).
Do you make sure you use all of these in your emails ?
